ACT寫作考試技巧：熟悉論述套路是關(guān)鍵

所有寫作考試，幾乎都遵循一個模式——給出一個話題（issue），對于該話題，有正反兩方持不同態(tài)度?？忌催x擇其中的一個態(tài)度進(jìn)行支持，要么基于給出的兩個態(tài)度發(fā)展出一個新的觀點并進(jìn)行論證。ACT考試的話題相對簡單，一般并不涉及到世界觀（SAT的話題就經(jīng)常涉及較深層次的思考），因此論述不需要特別辯證，一般來講，選擇一個觀點進(jìn)行支持是容易的寫法。請看例題：

Educators debate extending high school to five years because of increasing demands on students from employers and colleges to participate in extracurricular activities and community service in addition to having high grades. Some educators support extending high school to five years because they think students need more time to achieve all that is expected of them. Other educators do not support extending high school to five years because they think students would lose interest in school and attendance would drop in the fifth year. In your opinion, should high school be extended to five years?

越來越多的雇主和大學(xué)要求學(xué)生們在**課業(yè)優(yōu)良的同時參加課外活動和社區(qū)服務(wù)，教育工作者們因此而爭論是否應(yīng)當(dāng)把中學(xué)改為五年學(xué)制。一些教師支持這一提議，他們認(rèn)為這樣一來學(xué)生們就有更多的時間去實現(xiàn)人們對他們的期待。另一些人則持反對態(tài)度，他們認(rèn)為學(xué)生們將會對上學(xué)失去興趣，從而導(dǎo)致第五年的出勤率下降。

要準(zhǔn)備ACT寫作，考生應(yīng)當(dāng)多地看一些校園題材的文章，大家手邊容易找到的，就是與教育話題相關(guān)的托福范文，這些文章雖然長度和難度不及ACT，卻也是十分有價值的參考。另外，ACT寫作的深度較淺，寫作的套路會相對固定，因此考生需要大量積累常用句型并且熟悉論述套路。
